Innovative new eFusion electric planes to be built in Pécs

Hungary is set to start producing innovative new electric planes, it has been revealed.

According to Origo.hu, Magnus’ Fusion 212 type ultra light airplane will extend their manufacture to Pécs, where they plan to produce the first electric planes named eFusion.

Sources say that Magnus Aircraft are already in discussions with the municipal of Pécs about establishing their new factory in the city and the nearby Pécs-Pogány airfield.

The website states that the assembling of the carbon composite airplanes would move to Pécs.

Magnus Aircraft, a 100% Hungarian-owned firm plans to invest in research and development, and create 300 new jobs for Hungarians. Construction of the new factory could begin as soon as October.
