Hungary has welcomed in Spring with Labor day celebrations and temperatures are set to reach nearly 30 degrees later this week, according to Hungary's meteorological service.
Temperatures reached 20 degrees Celsius in some locations today, and are set to hit 27 by the middle of the week.
The 1st of May every year marks Labor Day, where Hungarians gather in large numbers to celebrate the day with processions, maypole mounting and spring celebrations.
Labor day was first celebrated in 1890. It was introduced as the international celebration of workers, and it is also the solidarity day of workers, since 1990.
