Hungary’s average gross wage for full-time workers rose by 11.6 percent year-on-year to HUF 365,135 (EUR 1,100) in October.
The Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced that net wages grew at the same pace, reaching a HUF 242,815 monthly average.
Calculating with a twelve-month CPI of 2.9 percent in October, real wages were up 8.5 percent.
Excluding the 99,200 Hungarians in fostered work programs, the average gross wage rose by 11.2 percent to HUF 375,314, while net wages grew at the same rate to HUF 249,584.
