Finance Minister Mihály Varga has revealed that Hungary’s economy is expected to grow by 4.8 percent this year.
After attending a meeting of the National Competitiveness Council, a body of business leaders and professionals that makes recommendations to the government, Minister Varga added that Hungary’s economy is likely to grow by around 4 percent in 2020.
The Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced that Hungary’s economy grew by an annual 5.1 percent in the first three quarters, based on unadjusted data.
