Hungary's health authority issues heat alert for weekend

Hungary's health authority has issued a heat alert for the rising temperatures over the weekend.

According to MTI, the human resources ministry’s public health secretariat has issued first and second-level heat alerts for the entirety of Hungary and warned of high daytime temperatures through Sunday evening.

Average temperatures on Friday, Saturday and Sunday are set to exceed 25-27 C, especially in northwest and southeast Hungary.
