It's a must-win for Hungary tonight in their FIFA World Cup 2018 qualifying match agaist Latvia.
The match will kick off at 8:45pm CET this evening at Riga’s Skonto Stadium. Hungary leads the two nation's clashes with a 4-1 lead, however their only battle that took place in Riga ended with a 3-1 victory for Latvia in September 2003.
Hungary lost 2-3 to Switzerland in Budapest over the weekend, while Latvia suffered a 2-0 defeat to the Faroe Islands on Friday.
In the first round, Hungary settled for a goalless draw in Tórshavn, while Latvia won with a 1-0 away victory in Andorra.
Hungary is currently ranked fifth in the Group B league table (out of six teams) and even if they triumph in tonight's game there still could be trouble for their qualification into the main draw depending on other team's successes.
