Hungary’s state debt stands at 74 percent of GDP at the end of June, reduced from 74.3 percent of GDP at the end of March, the National Bank of Hungary has announced.
According to MTI, the country's state debt ratio fell from 75 percent in Q2 of 2017, compared to the same period in 2016.
The state debt reached 26,706 billion HUF (88bn EUR) at the end of Q2. It rose from 26,451 billion HUF at the end of Q1 of 2017.
Official data shows that net borrowing increased the nominal figure by 305 billion HUF, but revaluations decreased it by 49 billion HUF in Q2.
