The world famous Ice Rink at Budapest City Park will open on November 20th for the 2017-2018 winter season.
Set in front of Vajdahunyad Castle, the lake will be transformed into a 12,000 square meter ice rink which has become a lasting favorite with both locals and vistors over the years.
First opened in 1870, the rink is one of Europe's oldest ice skating parks and has played host to royalty, celebrities and performers throughout the past 150 years.
The last time the lake was put into action was during the 2017 FINA world championships, and the latest skate attraction is set to become as popular as the highly-successful summer event.
