A HUF 2.5 billion upgrade of an industrial park in Nyírbátor, northeast Hungary, was inaugurated by local officials on Friday.
According to MTI, Nyírbátor mayor Antal Máté noted that almost 5,000 people work in the 57-hectare industrial park, one of the largest in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County, commuting from around 200 settlements in the region. The local units of Danish medical supplies maker Coloplast, German aircraft parts manufacturer Diehl, German automotive industry supplier Rosenberger, and Italian packaging makers Serioplast and Farmol are among the companies in the park.
