Hollywood megastar Jennifer Lawrence has given an interview to reporters where she claims she is Hungarian and Budapest is her home.
According to Borsonline, the actress made the comments during promotion for her new film Red Sparrow, which was filmed in Hungary.
The trailer for the film was released a month ago, filmed on location around Budapest. Famous landmarks to feature in the flick include Liberty Statue, Parliament and the Opera House.
In the interview, Lawrence confesses her love for Budapest and says she would love to shoot a sequel in the city.
“The people are so lovely, the culture and the city are so beautiful. I loved it!,” she said.
Red Sparrow is a spy thriller. Jennifer Lawrence plays Dominika Jegorova, a Russian spy, who falls for the CIA agent she is pursuing. The movie opens on March 1st.
