Joe Eszterhas was spotted wearing a laid-back, stylish shirt adorned with a pattern showing Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s face.
Following a lucrative career at Rolling Stone magazine during the 1970s, the Hungarian-American writer made his commercial breakthrough with the script for Flashdance, which he finished in 1983. Success was soon to follow, and Eszterhás earned international recognition with the script for Jagged Edge, Basic Instinct and Showgirls.
The scriptwriter’s political views remained undisclosed until now. Leading a private, relatively secluded life free of media affairs, Eszterhás hasn’t taken up an active role in public life.
