Judit Szilágyi has been awarded the prestigious Ferenc Móra Prize.

The leading museologist at the Petőfi Literary Museum received recognition for her life-long contributions to the promotion of lesser-known, yet-to-be-discovered 20th century literary works.

Some of the exhibitions Szilágyi organized include the famous Nyugat (“The West”) exhibition and the Literary Meals – literature on a plate. These exhibits traveled across Europe, and have been shown in Stuttgart, Paris and Odorheiu Secuiesc.

Szilágyi is applauded within the industry for her exceptional creativity, organizational skills and ability to create catchy and intriguing exhibitions, that build on canonical masterpieces and literary works that would otherwise be less likely to reach the general public.
