Kövér sends condolences to Turkish counterpart over ski resort hotel fire

The house speaker expressed condolences on behalf of Hungary's parliament to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those injured.

House Speaker László Kövér has sent his condolences to his Turkish counterpart over the ski resort hotel fire that claimed several lives in north-western Turkey.

"I have learnt with deep sorrow about the blaze that has claimed at least 76 lives and has caused dozens of injuries in the hotel fire in Bolu province," Kövér wrote in a telegram to Numan Kulturmus, the speaker of Turkey's Grand National Assembly.
