Human Resources Minister Miklós Kásler and Zsolt Nyitrai, the prime minister’s commissioner for key welfare issues, have thanked Hungary’s district nurses in a video released to mark District Nurses Day.
In the video, Nyitrai thanked some 5,000 Hungarian staff members in the nursing sector for their contribution to fighting the coronavirus pandemic, with a special nod to their services during the vaccination drive. Kásler said that district nurses had “a special place in healthcare by virtue of their helpfulness, compassion, and high professional skills”.
