Minister marks District Nurses Day

5,000 Hungarian staff members in the nursing sector were thanked for their contribution to fighting the coronavirus pandemic.

Human Resources Minister Miklós Kásler and Zsolt Nyitrai, the prime minister’s commissioner for key welfare issues, have thanked Hungary’s district nurses in a video released to mark District Nurses Day.

In the video, Nyitrai thanked some 5,000 Hungarian staff members in the nursing sector for their contribution to fighting the coronavirus pandemic, with a special nod to their services during the vaccination drive. Kásler said that district nurses had “a special place in healthcare by virtue of their helpfulness, compassion, and high professional skills”.
