In a new report, the National Bank of Hungary (NBH) has highlighted how Hungary’s FinTech sector has grown to about 175 companies. Microbusinesses accounted for 55% of the companies, while 85% were focused on B2B activities. The combined annual turnover of Hungarian FinTech companies was worth more than 220 billion in 2021. The headcount at local FinTech companies was over 8,000 in 2022. Just over 4,000 people employed in the sector worked in data analysis and business intelligence.
