According to the national police headquarters (ORFK), 6,161 people crossed into Hungary directly from Ukraine on Sunday, while another 5,396 from Ukraine crossed from Romania. Police issued temporary residence permits valid for 30 days to 242 people. Holders of such permits must contact a local immigration office near their place of residence within 30 days to apply for permanent documents. Budapest police received 149 refugees, 49 children among them, arriving by train.
