According to the national police headquarters (ORFK), 6,085 people crossed into Hungary directly from Ukraine on Sunday, while another 5,164 from Ukraine crossed from Romania. Police issued temporary residence permits valid for 30 days to 354 people. Holders of such permits must contact a local immigration office near their place of residence within 30 days to apply for permanent documents. Budapest police received 137 refugees, 59 children among them, arriving by train.
