PM Orbán and President Novák meet with Emir of Qatar

The prime minister bade farewell to the emir at the end of his official visit to Hungary.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán accompanied the Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on a visit to Parliament on Monday. PM Orbán showed the Qatari emir around Kossuth Square and walked with him up the grand staircase of Parliament to the Dome Hall, and they viewed the Holy Crown and coronation insignia. The prime minister bade farewell to the emir at the end of his official visit to Hungary. Earlier, President Katalin Novák met the emir in her office. The president said on Facebook after the meeting that they had discussed further possibilities of cooperation between Hungary and Qatar. “I thank the Emir for his invitation, we will meet again in Qatar in the near future,” she added.
