Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has appealed to Hungarians not to allow Brussels to use the Tisza Party to meddle in the general election. In a video posted on Facebook on Thursday, he urged them to sign a so-called national resistance movement petition.
PM Orbán said he was joining the national resistance movement to take action against "things happening in the world today, especially in Brussels and against Hungary", and he referred to opposition Tisza Party MEP Kinga Kollár, who he said was acting in Brussels to impede Hungary and the success of its economy and public services.
This, he added, was preventing the government from financing the renovation of fifty hospitals and the construction of roads, bridges and railways.
"It's time we raised our voices," PM Orbán said, urging "as many people as possible" to respond to the national resistance movement's petition at https://nem.hu/peticio/tunjenekel.
