PM Orbán attends 75th anniversary of liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp

The prime minister placed a candle in front of the Hungarian memorial to the victims of Birkenau.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and his wife, Anikó Lévai, attended a commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp yesterday with several heads of state and government.

According to MTI, the prime minister placed a candle in front of the Hungarian memorial to the victims of Birkenau and paid his respects to those who lost their lives during the Holocaust.

PM Orbán also laid a wreath at the grave of the late Polish President Lech Kaczynski and his wife, Maria, in Krakow.
