An economic symposium in Poland has awarded Prime Minister Viktor Orbán for his role in helping to shape central European policy.
The prime minister was given the "Man of the Year" title for his political endeavors by the symposium, it has been reported today.
The prime minister has gained international recognition for his tough stance on mass migration. He received the award on Tuesday night at the Economic Forum, an annual meeting of politicians and economists in Krynica Gorska in southern Poland.
Receiving the award, the prime minister said that Europe is going through a crucial transformation.
"Only those nations that have their historic, religious and national identity will survive and be strong," Orbán said. "I represent and protect that."
