PM Orbán highlights importance of June 9 elections on campaign trail

The prime minister told voters that with the June 9 elections approaching, left-wing politicians would prefer to deny that they were pro-war.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán paid a visit to Budapest’s 16th district on the campaign trail. PM Orbán held talks with district mayor Péter Kovács in his office, before meeting voters at the Szentmihályi Cultural Centre. The prime minister told voters that with the June 9 elections approaching, left-wing politicians would prefer to deny that they were pro-war. “But everyone knows that every single one of them is in [US financier George] Soros’s pocket. Both the old and the new ones,” PM Orbán said. “And he who pays the piper calls the tune.”
