PM Orbán holds talks with European Council President in Granada

The prime minister and Charles Michel previewed the topics to be covered at the upcoming two-day European summit.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán met European Council President Charles Michel for bilateral talks in Granada on Thursday.

Bertalan Havasi, the PM’s press chief, told MTI that PM Orbán and Michel previewed the topics to be covered at the upcoming two-day European summit. The prime minister reiterated Hungary’s stance on the European Union funds owed to the country, the increasingly severe migration situation on the continent’s borders, the bloc’s economic slowdown and decline in competitiveness as well as the issue of the EU budget, he said.
