Prime Minister Viktor Orbán met North Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, in his office in Budapest, on the sidelines of the CPAC Hungary conference on Friday.
PM Orbán and Mickoski discussed North Macedonia’s integration into the European Union. PM Orbán said that instead of fast-tracking Ukraine’s accession, Brussels should place greater emphasis on the integration of the Western Balkans countries, which, he said, were seeing "remarkable economic growth".
The prime minister also met Alice Weidel, the co-leader of the Alternative fur Deutschland (AfD) party, in his office in Budapest.
Weidel gave a speech at the CPAC Hungary 2025 earlier on Friday.
