Prime Minister Viktor Orbán received Milorad Dodik, President of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in his office on Thursday.
The statement said Hungary "has steadily deepened its economic cooperation with the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina in recent years".
At the meeting, the two leaders reviewed mutually beneficial bilateral agricultural, energy and economic projects.
The prime minister emphasised that Bosnia and Herzegovina's stability "is vital for maintaining peace and security in the whole of the Western Balkans".
