PM Orbán holds talks with Serbian President

Topics focused on EU integration of Serbia and the Western Balkans, bilateral relations, and the war in Ukraine.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán held talks with Serbian President Alexandar Vučić in Belgrade on Saturday. Topics discussed at the meeting included the EU integration of Serbia and the Western Balkans, bilateral relations, and the war in Ukraine with a special focus on promoting a ceasefire and peace talks.

Following the meeting in Belgrade, the prime minister held a cabinet meeting to review interior affairs in his Budapest office. The meeting was attended by Interior Minister Sándor Pintér, Gergely Gulyás, the head of the prime minister’s office, Antal Rogán, who heads the prime minister’s cabinet office, government commissioner Dávid Héjj, as well as state secretaries Gábor Bordás, Péter Takács and János Nagy.
