PM Orbán meets leader of Federation of Hungarian Jewish Communities

Hungarian Jews "are deeply appreciative" of the way Hungary's government is approaching the state of Israel and the Jewish people, and also value the country as a safe and peaceful place for all peoples and denominations.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán met with Andor Grosz, the leader of the Federation of Hungarian Jewish Communities (Mazsihisz), on Monday to discuss "everyday issues of the Hungarian Jewish community and possible solutions, as well as further ways the government could support the community".

Hungarian Jews "are deeply appreciative" of the way Hungary's government is approaching the state of Israel and the Jewish people, and also value the country as a safe and peaceful place for all peoples and denominations, the statement said.
