Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will hold working a meeting with Slovenian counterpart Janez Janša in eastern Slovenia today.
PM Orbán’s press chief Bertalan Havasi said the prime ministers would attend a cornerstone laying ceremony for the Cirkovce-Pince power line.
Slovenian press reports said that the 2×400 kV power line would be part of the Slovenia-Hungary-Croatia grid, a priority for the Slovenian government in developing the country’s energy infrastructure.
Havasi said the Hungarian part of the grid reaching the border was completed in 1999 and the construction of the Slovenian side has special importance also to Hungary.
