PM Orbán visits Kútvölgyi Hospital in Budapest

The prime minister met Cecilia Müller, the chief public health officer, and other officials to mark the fifth anniversary of the pandemic.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán visited Kútvölgyi Hospital in Budapest on Friday to mark the fifth anniversary of the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a video posted on Facebook, PM Orbán said he had met Cecilia Müller, the chief public health officer, and other officials.

Concerning the government's handling of the epidemic in Hungary, PM Orbán said it had been key to vaccinate as many people as possible. He said the health government had had to build capacities "to prepare for the worst-case scenario all along".
