Premier of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang will make an official visit to Hungary later this week, it has been announced.
The Chinese leader will attend the sixth meeting of heads of government of China-Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries during his official visit to Hungary. He will then travel to Russia for further meetings.
Li Keqiang will undertake the tour following a joint invitation from Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
The meeting in Hungary coincides with the fifth anniversary of the establishment of China’s cooperation with the 16 CEE countries. Cooperation between the countries has achieved tangible progress in trade, connectivity, economy, industrial capacity, finance and cultural exchanges.
