UEFA has announced that the 2022 Europa League final will be held in Budapest’s Puskás Arena.
The UEFA executive committee’s landmark decision means Hungary will host its first-ever single-match final of a men’s international cup tournament.
According to MTI, the 2022 Europa League final will be held on either May 18 or May 25.
The Puskás Arena is a UEFA category 4 stadium with capacity for 68,000 for football events and 80,000 for concerts.
At the upcoming Euro 2020, Puskás Aréna will host four matches: three in the group stage and one in the round of 16.
