With only a few days remaining, Hungary has so far secured five silver and five bronze medals, bringing its overall total to ten at the Paralympic Games in Rio.
Richárd Osváth won a silver medal in the wheelchair fencing event, to add to his already secured bronze medal in the 2012 Paralympics in London and a silver medal at the 2013 Wheelchair Fencing World Championships. He also won a gold and silver medal in the 2014 Wheelchair European Fencing Championships.
Osváth took on legendary champion Ukrainian Andrij Demcsuk in the men’s final but couldn't beat his fierce oponent. In the end the Ukrainian fencer took the gold with a 15-8 win.
Previous successes have been seen in the swimming and powerlifting events and with only a few days of competition remaining, Hungary are hoping to finish their games with a few more medals in their bag!
