Seven Hungarian firms are among the top 1,000 fastest-growing companies in Europe.
According to The Financial Times list of Europe’s 1,000 fastest-growing companies, Hungary did particularly well this year with seven entries.
The list features companies that show the greatest increase in revenue between 2014 and 2017.
Hungary is in a respectable position compared to other countries in the region – only Poland is ahead.
The seven Hungarian companies featured on the list, include:
1) Telecommunication company Optiwella came in 444th place, with a growth of 69.9 percent, while their absolute revenue increased by 391 percent.
2) GD Betrieb, the e-commerce company also known as kockashop.hu, placed 573rd. The company registered a growth of 59.2 percent and a revenue increase of 304 percent.
3) Customer service Humán-Társ ended up in 615th place, with a growth of 56.9 percent and a revenue increase of 287 percent.
4) Lumenet came in 739th place, with a growth of 50 percent and a revenue increase of 237 percent.
5) With a growth of 46.5 percent and a revenue increase of 213 percent, tech firm Starschema ended up in 802nd place.
6) Amplio Automatika, car dealers, secured the 806th position on the list, with a growth of 46.3 percent and a revenue increase of 2,130 percent.
7) Finally, Hungarian NeoCons Plus ended up in 860th place, with a growth of 43.1 percent and a revenue increase of 193 percent.
