This year’s Sziget Festival is set to kick off next week, between August 8th and 15th.
The line up is already looking good with US singer Lana Del Rey performing, along with rapper Kendrick Lamar, British band Gorillaz, Mumford and Sons, Dua Lipa, Kygo and the Arctic Monkeys.
The festival has a budget of 8.6 billion HUF (27.7 million EUR) in 2018 to provide first class performers and entertainment to visitors.
Held on the Hajógyári island north of downtown Budapest, the festival treats revelers from all over Europe to performances by more international artists than ever before.
The program will also include a number of performances by Israeli artists under an agreement with the State of Israel, celebrating its 70th anniversary this year.
