The 10th Bogányi piano was presented in the ceremony hall of the Deutsches Museum in Munich on Tuesday.
World renowned Hungarian pianist, Gergely Bogányi had a burning desire to add a new beauty to the way the piano looks and sounds, so he introduced modern innovation to the last 200 years of almost unchanged piano tradition. The result is a new dimension of sound and design in the Bogányi piano models.
The unique musical instrument arrived at its new home, one of Germany's most visited museums, as part of a concert by Kossuth Prize-winning artist Gerely Bogányi.
“It is a great pleasure that the tenth state-owned Bogányi piano will be located in Munich, since Hungary is having very serious cultural relations with Bavaria," said Péter Fekte, State Secretary for Culture.
