The National announced as final headline act for 2019 Sziget Festival

Main headliner Ed Sheeran will be joined by the 1975, Richard Ashcroft, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Chvrches, Jungle, Kodaline, The Blaze and DJ Martin Garrix

The Sziget Festival has announced The National as its final headline act for the 2019 event.

Main headliner Ed Sheeran will be joined by the 1975, Richard Ashcroft, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Chvrches, Jungle, Kodaline, The Blaze and DJ Martin Garrix. The Foo Fighters, Twenty-One Pilots and Florence + the Machine are also due at the event this summer.

The world renowned festival has also revealed other performers, including Maribou State, IDLES, Superorganism, PALE WAVES, Parcels, Boy Pablo, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, Of Mice & Men, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Gang of Youths, ALMA, Yungblud and Tamino.

This year’s Sziget Festival will take place between August 7th and 13th, on Hajógyári Island in the middle of Budapest.

Last summer, more than 500,000 people attended the festival’s 26th event, and the 2019 festival is set to draw large crowds from around the world.
