The third Demographic Summit will be held at the Várkert Bazár between September 5th and 6th.
The event will feature lectures and workshops and interactive programs by politicians, scientists, church represenatitves and public figures. Star football player Ottó Vincze and wife, Anita Görbicz and other media personalities will be in attendance.
“We live in a changing and altering time, when decisions need to be made on how we imagine the new way of coexistence that determines our future,” writes Katalin Novák, the patron of the event in her press release.
"Families are the cornerstones of Hungarian society, emphasized the politician. To maintain democracy and evade the potential threats resulting from the decline of the population, they must be protected," she added.
The event will put families in focus, engendering lively discussions about the public policies and socio-cultural trends geared towards their protection.
The event follows the success of the 2015 and 2017 Demographic Summit.
