The prime ministers of the Visegrád Group countries will hold an independent meeting with French head of state Emmanuel Macron in Brussels today, ahead of the meeting of the European Council.
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis, Slovak Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini and Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiezkiwill attend the meeting convened at the initiative of the French party.
Government sources state that the today’s talks have been organized by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán under Hungary's V4 Presidency.
The topics to be discussed include the items featured on the agenda of the EU summit,the migration crisis currently afflicting Europe being the number one priority.
