Várkert Bazár has opened its annual Advent Celebration for the fourth time which will be open until the end of December.
The program will include a living Bethlehem celebration every Sunday between 10:00 and 18:00, along with workshops, playhouses and concerts for children and adults.
The Advent Celebration will be opened by Hungarian band Irie Maffia this Sunday. Márton Élő said that his band will perform together with a jazz band and recompose their biggest hits for the festive season.
On December 17th, Hungarian literature will be the focal point where famous Hungarian actors including Pál Mácsai, Imre Csuja and Kátya Tompos will perform well-known poet’s work.
There will also be dancing and world music events, ballet performances and theater productions. On December 23rd, jazz and classical music will be in focus along with a concert by the Snétberger Trió.
