Budapest's world famous Advent and Christmas Fair has returned to Vörösmarty Square and will remain open until December 31st.
According to Origo.hu, Christmas fairs are becoming more and more popular with both locals and tourist right across Hungary. In Budapest, organisers expect at least 8,000 visitors to the Advent and Christmas Fair alone this year.
Work by more than 120 different craftsmen, each selected by a group of professional judges, will be displayed in Vörösmarty Square. Mulled wine, chocolates and Christmas-themed gifts will also be on display.
