The total number of vaccinated people is 6,272,718, of which 5,996,472 have already received their second vaccination and 3,198,951 have already received their third vaccination. Children between the age of 5 and 11 can now get vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine.
A total of 6,454 new infections have been confirmed yesterday, bringing the total number of infected persons identified since the beginning of the epidemic to 1,276,433. The 80 deaths yesterday were mostly elderly, chronic patients, bringing the total number of deaths to 39,679. The number of recovered people continues to increase and now stands at 1,133,345, while the number of active infected people is 103,409. 3,101 patients with coronavirus are hospitalized, of whom 307 are on ventilators.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic, 9,256,170 coronavirus tests have been performed in Hungary.
