PM Orbán sends Hungary's support to France on Bastille Day

PM Orbán reassured Macron that in the spirit of mutual respect France can rely on the Hungarian people’s unwavering support in the realization of common European goals.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has sent a letter to President Emmanuel Macron on the occasion of Bastille Day, reassuring the French leader about the Hungarian people’s unwavering support.

In his letter, PM Orbán attributed increasing importance to Hungarian-French cooperation. “I firmly believe that our cooperation based on shared values is becoming particularly important in these challenging times when the future of Europe, our broader home, is at stake,” he said.
