Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will work under a tight schedule in the coming weeks, including talks with the Russian president and the Italian deputy prime minister, it has been revealed.
Bertalan Havasi, the Deputy State Secretary heading the Press Office of the Prime Minister, said the prime minister will meet with Matteo Salvini on Tuesday in Milan, after which they are planning to hold a press conference.
PM Orbán will head the first cabinet meeting on Wednesday, and on Friday he will deliver a speech at the funeral of Imre Kerényi, appointee of the Prime Minister, Kossuth and Jászai award winning director, who passed away aged 75.
The prime minister is scheduled to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin on September 18th in Moscow. He will also travel to Kyrgyzstan to attend the 3rd World Nomad Games at the coming weekend, where he'll meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
On September 12-13th, PM Orbán will address a meeting of the co-ruling Fidesz and Christian Democratic parties’ parliamentary groups in Velence near Budapest. The prime minister will also take part at the European Council’s informal meeting in Salzburg on Sept 19-20th.
