The head of the Press Office of the Prime Minister has said that Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s declaration of assets is accurate and complies with the law.
Bertalan Havasi made the statement in reply to Viktor Szigetvári, president of the opposition party Együtt, who at a press conference said that Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is the richest Hungarian, with assets worth 205 billion HUF and “straw men” acting on his behalf to conceal his financial interests.
According to Havasi, the prime minister's declaration of assets is "true and correct, complies with the law, and is complete". Anyone claiming otherwise, he said, is lying.
