World renowned political strategist Steve Bannon has said that Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has a natural talent for politics just like President Donald Trump.
During an interview with Hungarian commercial television RTL Klub, Bannon said PM Orbán was one of his heroes and a leading light in Europe.
“I think he did an excellent job,” Bannon said. “I think he really became an important figure for the conservative press during the migration crisis in 2014-2015. If you look back at the material from our Breitbart London office, you will see that we had several stories about him running in parallel.”
"We have common projects and I spoke with his people. If I could, I would make Budapest the headquarters of the Movement. I love to be there, but unfortunately it is impractical. But we will be there a lot until the elections,” he added.
When asked whether he would provide training for the prime minister and his team, Bannon was quick to respond.
“No. The situation is like with the others: they are very good at what they do... Let's not forget that he is also a man of the street. He has a gut feeling for things, he is a true populist. He has a knack to feel what people want. He is like Trump: a natural-born talent,” he said.
