A flying start. Today is another day that can't go by without good news. Our plan is to make 2025 a fantastic year for Hungarian small businesses. This is why, from 1 January this year, we've raised the VAT exemption threshold by 6 million forints, from 12 million forints to 18 million forints. The important thing is that this is optional, and it must be declared by 28 February. This means that 830,000 self-employed people will now get a 50 per cent increase in tax relief, and tens of thousands more who have been paying tax and will now enjoy tax exemption. Those who undertake more will also be supported by Hungary. Every success to them! Go, Hungarians!
