I’ve just received news that the number of votes cast in the ballot on Ukraine's fast-track membership of the EU has passed one million. This is a fantastic result, perhaps even exceeding expectations. More than one million people. But I’d still like to encourage everyone who hasn’t already voted to do so, because in Brussels the pressure is mounting, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to defend Hungary's interests, and they’re trying to push the Ukrainians into the European Union. If we want to protect the livelihoods of our families, if we want to protect our farmers, if we want to protect the reductions in household energy bills, then we need to speak out. Cast your vote!
