The 15th of March.
Long live Hungarian freedom, long live the homeland!
This is not only a day of remembrance, but also a day of thanksgiving. After all, Hungarians didn't just stand their ground in 1848-49, but we were able to draw strength from their resistance in 1956, and later in 1989-90.
This is how a nation is built.
The success and heroism of one generation gives strength to the upcoming generation, generations. This is the case today. Not only must we save lives and fend off the pandemic, but with a successful fight, a courageous stand, we must set an example for our children and grandchildren, so that if they get into trouble, they have something to remember: How was it in 2021 when our grandparents and parents stood their ground in a difficult situation.
I really hope we can pass something to our children.
