The prime minister hosted Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev for a working visit in his office, congratulating Mirziyoyev on his victory in last month’s presidential election.
The prime minister also stressed that Hungary wants an immediate ceasefire and peace talks in Ukraine.
Hungary’s trade with Georgia has developed over the past years to record levels, with bilateral trade in goods totalling now 90 million euros.
During the meeting, which focused on the Ukraine war, Szalay-Bobrovniczky reiterated the position that Hungary would not send weapons or ammunition because that could lead to the escalation of the conflict.
Hungary and Israel are very strong, and the governments continue to preserve and strengthen them in economy and politics.
