The speaker said Hungary had always been right that it was in the interest of European people to choose "peace, democracy and prosperity" over "war, dictatorship and impoverishment".
Zsolt Semjén said the Hungarian diaspora was a "bridgehead" for Hungary in terms of culture, the economy, and "in all other areas of life."
“Let us preserve Hungary as one of the most secure countries in the world amid current challenges posed by wars and migration,” PM Orbán said.
Deputy Prime Minister Zsolt Semjén said the government is launching a special scholarship program for young diaspora Hungarians looking to pursue higher education in Hungary.
